There’s been a lot of talk about the perfect two-car garage around CAR recently, and I’d contend that these two make a great pairing, even without their Tic Tac colouring.

The Artura is McLaren’s forgotten supercar, which is a shame – it’s wonderfully communicative and light compared to a modern 911. The Clio is clearly more practical, but it shares a bit of the McLaren’s spirit. They’re both playful and chuckable, and while the Artura is blisteringly fast it’s not just about speed, it’s about feel.

The Clio is definitely not about speed, but if you love driving for driving’s sake you’ll appreciate its zingy flavour.

I’d be happy with these two. I just need £240,195.
