► Donald Trump’s Ferrari F430 at auction
► Due to go under hammer at Rockstar
► Rosso over tan, just 9400 miles showing
A red Ferrari F430 first bought and registered by US president Donald Trump is heading for auction in America – and it’s estimated to raise between $750,000 and $1 million (£600k-£800k).
It’s being sold by Rockstar Car Auctions in Florida, which is holding an online auction that ends on 9 March 2025. The red coupe was first registered in 2007 and is specced in the surprisingly tasteful and classic Maranello mix of Rosso Corsa Red paintwork with a Tan interior.
A few choice options include the F1 robotised manual transmission, full carbonfibre interior package and Scuderia shields on the car’s flanks. You could say it’s a very Trumpian spec, with no expense spared and it’s clearly lived a very sheltered life: this V8 is showing just 9395 miles on the odometer and has recently been serviced, according to the sales documents.
Does having Donald Trump on the registration paperwork make it more or less valuable?
Few politicians divide opinion like the new president of the United States – and the provenance is clear to see from the extensive paperwork bundle which proves that Trump was the first named keeper of this 18-year-old Ferrari F430. His signature is clear to see on the New York State title of ownership and his Fifth Avenue address is listed on the delivery documents. There’s even a rather naff DJT number plate included in the artefacts.
While some Europeans might be less keen on Trump, it’s worth noting that in 2024 a custom 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT roadster formerly owned by the tycoon-turned-politician sold at auction for $1.1m (£885k).
