Reader Seth Gilbert saw – or rather heard – a rather showy piece of new Italian exotica during his daily manoeuvres: the brand spanking new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4.
It’s a great scoop, as nobody outside of Lamborghini has driven the new Lambo V12 supercar yet.
Seth spotted the Aventador in Northampton. What was it doing there? ‘A prototype was in the UK for four to five days recently, doing development work,’ said a spokeswoman.

‘I was driving in Northampton when we got these pics of the new Lamborghini Aventador,’ Seth tells us.
‘It a bit early to see it on our humble UK roads. Sorry about the camera shake – but we were driving quite quickly when we took these shots.
‘And the sound was off the scale!’
Congrats go to Seth for papping the new Lambo V12 in the UK. A rare sight – we don’t get to drive it until a little later this spring. Stay tuned for CAR Online’s first drive review in the coming months.
