► Another all-electric SUV
► An SUV version of the EQE saloon
► AMG version also spotted
Mercedes’ electric plans seems to jump between SUVs and saloons – and now we’re about to see another of the former. After revealing the all-electric EQE saloon, the three-pointed star is now testing a new, SUV version of its electric E-class.
Our spy photographers have snapped the new electric crossover in and around Stuttgart, in both AMG and normal variants. And although slightly disguised, it appears to everything you’d expect from a EQE on stilts.
The front of the new crossover looks like a pumped-up version of the electric E-class – as does the rear- and our sources report the interior is largely unchanged too.
What about the AMG version?
Our spy photographers also snapped a heated, AMG-spec EQE SUV earlier this year, too. Although covered in camo – more so than the standard version above – it still gives away some secrets. Look past the headache-inducing wrap and you’ll find a lower ride height, Affalterbach wheels and bigger brakes behind them.
Power-wise we’re expecting around 670bhp, mirroring the saloon version we’ve already soon.
We’re expecting both to appear in the next month.
