If you’re not already excited by the prospect of the Lexus LF-A then maybe this video of the production supercar testing at the Nurburgring will convince you. Sit back, relax, turn up your speakers and listen to the 500bhp-plus 5.0-litre V10 wail through its triple exhausts as the LF-A tackles the infamous Nordschleife circuit.
Lexus officials recently admitted that we’d see a production version of the LF-A at the Tokyo motor show this October. The supercar will make its debut as a coupe, but a roadster version is expected to follow later. And although annual production volumes aren’t expected to top four figures, Lexus is making this car a technical marvel, with a new front-mounted V10 engine, rear transaxle, rear-mounted radiators and active aerodynamics.
