Next year’s new Range Rover LRX – aka the baby Range Rover – will definitely offer five doors. Our latest spyshots of a banana yellow prototype reveal a pair of rear doors for the first time.
There had been speculation that the LRX would be available only with three doors or maybe even with rear suicide doors, but our latest pictures prove that a 5dr compact Range Rover will be in showrooms.
So the compact Range Rover will be five-door only?
Expect a three-door version as well. We should know for sure in a few weeks’ time when the covers finally come off the production LRX for its summer debut ahead of a Paris motor show unveiling.
The baby Rangie goes on sale in spring 2011 from around £33,000 and will be the first Land Rover to be available with front-wheel drive. Click here for the full story on the LRX.
