► Audi e-Tron GT gets a refresh
► Due in 2024
► Will surface around the same time as refreshed Taycan
It’s already update time for the Audi e-Tron GT. Ingolstadt’s engineers are putting the finishing touches to a facelifted version of the electric GT, and our most recent spy pictures show it’ll be a fair amount different to the current car.
What’s new?
Our most recently spy shots show camouflage to the front and rear bumpers and side sills, suggesting that’s where we’ll see most of the changes.
Looks closely and you’ll see a ‘smiling’ lower intake on the front of the Audi, which houses the car’s autonomous radar and AEB functions. Above that, there appears to be a total removal of the ‘faux grille’ of the current car. Look at the area between the lights; it’s smoother and less defined than what we’d see on the model on sale.
At the rear, the changes are less obvious, but it appears the Audi’s engineers have slightly tweaked the diffuser.
What about the Porsche Taycan?
Pictures of the next Audi e-Tron GT follow several pictures of a redesigned Porsche Taycan, and it makes sense that both J1-platformed cars are being refreshed at the same time.
CAR understands that the prototype pictured here will be ready released in 2024, so we’ll see the new Taycan surface around the same time.
