While my GV70 is away having its SIM card and its occasionally recalcitrant air-con rebooted, Genesis having (for now) no dealerships which might sort these probably minor issues more easily, I have a temporary replacement in the form of a different GV70 Electrified. And it has aero wheels, which you often find on EVs, but not mine.
It’s the size rather than the style of the rims which impresses. Shod with the same Michelin Pilot Sport SUV rubber but an inch smaller than my car’s 20s, and with a deeper aspect ratio, the previously praised ride and refinement takes another step up with a fraction less unsprung mass and a smidge more sidewall deflection.
It’s marvellous.
