More tyre woes, but thankfully nothing as irksome as Mark Walton’s two punctures in one month. I’ve had that thing where the tyre-pressure warning light comes on and you get a message saying you need to check the pressures.

In the past, with other cars, that’s been a red herring. So I drove on, keeping an ear open for any extra juddering or other signs that one of the tyres might actually be losing air. Nothing.

Next day, though, I checked the tyres. And, to my surprise, both the lefts were 5psi down on the rights.

I can’t in all honesty say I’d noticed anything asymmetrical about the handling, nor that I could discern any difference after I pumped them up.
