This weekend sees Lewis Hamilton gear up for his second British Grand Prix. It’s
a race he must win, not only to get his championship challenge back on track, but also to regain his confidence and silence his critics.
Hamilton has been fighting the press recently and needs to start doing his talking with his racing after a string of poor results. Personally I feel the press are doing what they do with football, creating so much pressure on young Hamilton that the expectation becomes too much.
This weekend Hamilton needs to ignore the publicity and show us that he is as good as we know he is. The Ferraris will be strong, but I believe the race is going to be a corker.
I hope that we have a British winner. Another poor result and I feel Hamilton’s championship fight will be over and the press will crush him. But what ever happens I’m gutted I’m not there this year…
