They say you should always do your research on a used car. And if you start poking around this particular Bentley Mulsanne, you’ll find a previous owner of royal repute: it was owned by the Queen.
It’s popped up for sale on Auto Trader with an asking price of a royal whisker under £200,000 – a hefty chunk above the recommended value according to our sister website, pricing gurus Parkers. They list a 2012 Mulsanne retailing at around £112k.
The trader in Bramley, Surrey obviously reckons Her Maj’s Mulsanne commands an Elizabethan premium…
A very royal provenance
This Mulsanne was used by the royal household from 2012 to 2014 and featured extensively in the Queen’s diamond jubilee roadshow and trips to Downing Street, according to the particulars.
