► A car to live happily ever laughter

Toyota has built a one-off ticklish car – claimed to be the world’s first – to support the UK’s Red Nose Day charity. The Yaris supermini reacts when you tickle its sensitive spots, making noises, flashing its lights and generally giggling like a schoolboy.

They’ve called on one familiar with the art of laughter, a certain Mr Tickle, to help launch the car while Brit comedian Lenny Henry is providing the sampled laughter emitted by the car when touched.

A very ticklish Toyota

Watch the Toyota-supplied video below to see the hilari-Yaris in action, as it flaps its door mirrors and squirts passers-by when tickled.

Look out for the ticklish Toyota at Red Nose Day events in the run-up to the big fund-raiser on Friday 13 March. The car maker aims to raise £1 million for the charity.

Pop into any Toyota dealership to buy a red nose for your car for £5.
