There’s a treat in store with the new December 2011 issue of CAR Magazine: an 84-page book of what BMW’s up to in 2012.
The A-Z of BMW in 2012 is bagged in the new December issue on sale on 16 November – and chronicles what’s gearing up to be the biggest year in Munich’s history.
What’s in the A-Z of BMW in 2012?
The glossy booklet follows an A-Z structure, from A for Adventure drive in a 6-series to Z for our blast in the latest Z4.
We stop off at D for design, with an essay by CAR’s design critic Stephen Bayley on BMW’s styling influences, via L for London and BMW’s involvement at the 2012 Olympics where they’ll be ferrying competitors around the games.
In between we drive most of the current range, visit BMW’s Guggenheim R&D lab and study the important BMW Art Cars, created by luminaries such as Andy Warhol and David Hockney.
