► Toyota GT86 Orange Edition
► First in new Club Series
► On sale now from £28,800
Avert your gaze or put on some shades for Toyota’s latest limited-run GT86 coupe. Yours from £28,800, the new GT86 Orange Edition is very, well, orange but it also marks the start of a new Club Series of limited-run models.
Along with the retina-searing ‘Solar Orange’ paintwork, the new special-edition model has a contrasting black spoiler and grey 17-inch alloys. Inside, there’s contrasting orange stitching applied to the black leather and Alcantara seats and steering wheel.
Other than that, it’s a standard top-spec GT86, so there’s a limited-slip diff, performance brakes, Toyota’s Touch 2 infotainment system and heated front seats. The 2.0-litre boxer engine produces 197bhp, which is good for a 7.7-second 0-62mph time and a top speed of 140mph.
Toyota hasn’t yet released details of what’s up next in its new Club Series of limited-run GT86 models, but presumably has a whole Dulux colour chart to run through.
The Orange Edition is on sale now, priced at £28,800 for the manual or £30,270 for the automatic.
