Suzuki to show two new concept cars
► iK-2 is a small crossover
► iM-4 points to new Suzuki supermini

Suzuki will show a pair of concept cars at the 2015 Geneva motor show – and the iK-2 and iM-4 point to a new baby crossover and family hatch duo.

These will be full world debuts and the Swiss show will be the first time we will see either car.

Suzuki iK-2: what we know

This is a mid-sized hatchback, thought to be a rival for hatchbacks like the Fiesta and Focus. It is not clear at this stage which segment this car belongs to.

Suzuki calls it a ‘compact car… developed with an innovative theme of Harmonised Force.’ We shan’t dwell on that here…

Suzuki iM-4: the details

This concept car points to a baby crossover to rival the likes of the Nissan Juke and Vauxhall Mokka.

‘The iM-4 is an iconic mini 4×4 developed with a concept theme of “Shape the Inspiration”,’says Suzuki. Yes, really. ‘It is an all-new proposal from Suzuki, packed with its compact 4×4 DNA and new technologies as well as distinctive styling that will give real inspiration to drivers.’

More details on this pair will emerge in the run-up to the 2015 Geneva motor show.
