The Ducati Diavel Lamborghini Edition is a Sián on two wheels

Updated: 26 November 2020

► Lambo and Ducati team up
► It’s a Diavel 1260 S underneath
► But it looks like a Sián on top

You’re looking at the Ducati Diavel Lamborghini Edition, a devilish collaboration that’s essentially a Sián on two wheels. Only 630 of the creations will be made – in a nod to the 63 hypercars rolling out of Sant’Agata, and it’s the first collaboration between the two Emilia-Romagna-based brands.

What is it?

Underneath, the Diavel Lamborghini Edition is an updated Euro 5 version of the Ducati Diavel 1260 S, but on the surface it’s more Lamborghini than Ducati. New forged wheels, carbon bodywork and a special livery tap into the Sián’s aggressive looks, and although the power isn’t the same (the bike’s 1262cc Testastretta engine makes 159bhp to the Sián’s 808bhp) the intent is the same.

Lamborghini Sián: everything you need to know

Like the standard 1260 S, the Diavel Lamborghini Edition also features an up and down quickshifter, lean sensitive rider aids and a TFT dash – only this one has two logos on startup. There’s also an Öhlins suspension, along with Brembo brakes all round.

‘We are convinced that our design is strong and one of the most recognizable in the automotive sector,’ said Mitja Borkert, head of design at Lamborghini.  ‘The unique silhouette, clean but extremely distinguished, defines the base of our design language.’

‘Our visionary design approach allows us to transfer our DNA to other products: this was achieved through strong teamwork, sharing our style and the advantage of being two brands inspired by the same values and a commitment to “fun to drive”.’
