Ferrari’s cranked out another one-off – this time base off of the GTC4 Lusso platform. It’s called the BR20, and it’s been commissioned by a Ferrari client to reference sporting Ferrari’s from the 50s and 60s.

The brand says the BR20 smashes together modern design cues with highlights from cars like the 410SA and 500 Superfast. The BR20 features shallow headlights sat atop a boxy grille arrangement, while curving vents draped over the rear wheels give the impression of flying buttresses from certain angles. Tonnes of carbonfibre is used, including on the angular side vents that cut right across the sill edges.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in a deep brown, almost rustic ‘Heritage Testa di Moro’ leather as if you’re stepping into an old library. All it needs in here is a wood burning fireplace and a couple of bookshelves. Gone are the rear seats from the GTC4 Lusso-based construction set; instead it’s been replaced by flat surface areas for greater luggage space for the discerning client.

Specifications aren’t detailed, but Ferrari says it’s still a V12 powerplant like the Lusso it’s based off. That means a 6.3-litre screamer delivering around 680bhp, with power sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
