► Widebody pack standard on Hellcat
► Optional on Scat Pack
► Range-topper has 697bhp V8
FCA has revealed the Widebody version of the latest 2020 Dodge Charger, and well, look at it. Standard on the range-topping Hellcat model, and an option on the Scat Pack model below – yes, we know – the widebody adds 3.5-inches over the wider wheels and tyres. It rolls on uprated 20-inch wheels, and also uses six-piston front calipers and adaptive damping.
That’s a huge bonnet?
Or hood, you may say – and it’s full of 6.2-litre Hellcat V8 in the range-topping model. It’s good for 697bhp, 650 lb ft of torque and a top speed of 196mph. The Dodge Charger Widebody Hellcat will do the 0-60mph dash in 3.6 seconds, too.
The Scat pack model makes do with a 478bhp V8, capable of 0-60mph in 4.3 seconds. Both models use a eight-speed auto-box.
It’s not coming to the UK, of course, but it probably wouldn’t fit on our potholed roads anyway.
