Living with the A110 requires you to rethink every kind of cargo. The rear boot is just 90 litres but the hatch is the size of an A4 sheet of paper, and a lot of the available volume is to the sides, out of sight.

In the nose, the frunk is 100 litres but it’s a shallow tray, just big enough for two cabin bags to snuggle up together.

This isn’t just an issue if you’re heading to the airport; even a supermarket trip requires a strategy. I’ve now learned to distribute my shopping into several bags, so I can tuck them into the nooks and crannies. Go on a really big shop, and you’ll find yourself distributing individual cans around the cabin too.

Hmm, a rooftop box would be handy… okay, forget I said that.
