Audi has revealed its facelifted Audi Q8 coupe SUV and, boy, is it a light refresh. And, no, this is not to be confused with the Q8 e-Tron electric SUV.

The brand says that, as well as new colours, wheel designs and some bonus customisation options inside, the lightly revised Q8 can also be specified with laser headlights.

More personalisation options come in the shape of the Black and Black Plus exterior trim option packs (seen on that Sakhir Gold car in the pictures) and an S line package for more aggressive styling.

Laser headlights?

The laser lights available as an option feature 24 LEDs and a laser diode, with the latter only activating beyond 43.5mph and is only used for long-range high beam functionality.

You can spot them by their blue-coloured ambient lighting. OLED rear lights also feature.

Any other tech changes for the 2023 Audi Q8 facelift?

Powertrains remain pretty much the same. Every Q8 uses a six-cylinder engine, and the UK engine range is likely to remain as it is now.

That means a 50 TDI (a 282bhp six-cylinder diesel), a 55 TFSI (a 335bhp six-cylinder petrol) and the SQ8 TFSI which features a V8 developing 500bhp.

Orders open in September 2023 for the new model
