British-based modder and design house, Kahn Design, has gotten its mitts onto the new Range Rover Velar.

Its new creation, the Velar D240 R-Dynamic S – Signature is not only quite a mouthful but comes with a suite of bespoke customisations, too. It’s arguably about as demure as a Kahn Design Rangie is going to get – especially when the 6×6 Flying Huntsman convertible exists.

This model is finished in Santorini Black with matte grey 22-inch ‘RS600’ alloys but it’s more about what’s inside. All of the seats have been reupholstered in ‘Herringbone’ leather, the dashboard has quilted and perforated leather, while both the armrests and centre console have been trimmed in Nappa leather.

Mechanically, nothing has changed to the recipe other than lowered sports suspension, so the 237bhp 2.0-litre diesel still manages 0-62mph in 7.3 seconds and a claimed combined economy figure of 48.7mpg.

How much for a Kahn-specced Velar? This one will set you back £69,995, with different colours and upholstery specifications available on request.
